Royal blue dress

Ciao a tutti, è molto che volevo mostrarvi queste foto. Risalgono a fine maggio e sono state scattate al Borgo di Fossanova, una location incantevole, grazie alla gentile collaborazione di Manuele Pagani. Adoro i suoi scatti ed in particolare il modo in ci riesce a gestire la luce ed i colori nelle sue fotografie.

Protagonista indiscusso l'abito blu royal, principesco, di Lashes of London ma acquistato su Asos, che avevate già visto qui (a differenza che portavo i capelli corti e ramati!). Accessori dorati che riprendono il ricamo in vita dell'abito, rossetto rosso ed il gioco è fatto!

Hello to all of you, it is too much time that I wanted to show these pictures. Were taken on May at the village of Fossanova, a beautiful location, with the kind collaboration of Manuele Pagani. I love his shots and in particular how he handle the light and colors in his pictures.

Undisputed star of the shooting is the royal blue dress, princely, by Lashes of London but purchased at Asos, that you had already seen here (the only different was my hairstyle!). Golden accessories that reflect the embroidery at the waist of the dress, red lipstick and you're done!

Chi l'ha detto che il bianco è solo per la sposa? Non fraintendetemi, ad un matrimonio è regola assoluta non vestirsi di bianco per non rubare la scena alla sposa, ma in altre occasioni gli abiti bianchi sono di gran effetto e stanno bene sopratutto su una carnagione scura o se si ha un minimo di abbronzatura.
Sono di un' eleganza unica, corti o lunghi, ce ne sono di tutti i tipi.. A voi la scelta!

Who said that white is only for the bride? Don't get me wrong, in a wedding it's forbidden to wear a white dress to not steal the shot to the bride, but on other occasions white formal dresses are so beautiful and are especially good on a dark complexion or if you have a minimum of tan.

Ma torniamo alla questione del bianco... Anche le star da sempre scelgono il bianco per distinguersi,  soprattutto in estate.
Qui possiamo vedere la super sexy Jennifer Lopez in un abito ricamato in pizzo e ad effetto nude. Miley Cirus, quando ancora non era caduta nel trash, la vediamo in un meraviglioso abito da sera bianco ottico con ricami argentei accompagnato da una generosa scollatura sulla schiena. Elegantissima e di gran classe a mio parere, Bar Refaeli, che ha scelto un abito dalle linee semplici e morbide che non stancano mai.La tanto chiacchierata Kiley Jenner e le sue nuove labbra non potevano sceglier altro che indossare un vestito sexy dall'effetto 'vedo, non vedo'. La bellissima Taylor Swift sfoggia invece una tutina molto semplice, dal sapore un po' vintage, che le dona moltissimo.

But back to the issue of the white ... Even the stars have always chosen the white to stand out, especially in summer.
Here we can see the super sexy Jennifer Lopez in a dress embroidered with lace and in a nude effect. E pensateci bene... la star delle star, Marilyn Monroe è ricordata da tutti con il suo splendido ed iconico vestito bianco con plissè soleil.

Come non ricordarla nel capolavoro di Billy Wilder del 1995 'Quando la moglie è in vacanza' dove Marilyn, fece girare la testa di Tom Ewell sul set ma di tutti gli spettatori poi nella vita reale!

Sapete perchè il plissè dell'abito di Marilyn Monroe viene detto a soleil? Di plissè - o plissettato, come lo si voglia chiamare - ce ne sono di più tipi, ma questo in particolare viene chiamato con questo nome perché è un vestito a ruota in cui i plissè imitano i raggi del sole (da qui il nome soleil) che si espandono e si irradiano dalla vita verso tutte le direzioni proprio come fanno i raggi del sole veri e propri.

Lima- Perù first day

Ciao a tutti! Sta diventando sempre più difficile scrivere sul blog, tra impegni universitari, lavorativi ed amorosi ma cercherò di fare il possibile per scriverci almeno una tantum.

Oggi vi mostro il mio primo giorno a Lima (Perù) (per seguire fin dall'inizio il mio grande viaggio cliccate qui e qui), la terra dei miei genitori e quindi anche un po' mia. Il caloroso benvenuto che abbiamo ricevuto dalla mia famiglia sudamericana è stato tanto da farmi pensare di essere sempre stata lì con loro e di aver condiviso mille cose insieme.

Dopo una serata ricca di sorrisi e ricordi, pronte per andare a dormire ci aspettavano nel comodino le squisite 'tejas', che vi consiglio di assaggiare almeno una volta nella vita, sono più o meno un'insieme di dolcezza elevata al quadrato. Dopo questo dolce spuntino non poteva che seguire una dolce dormita.

Il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo ce la siamo presa comoda (avevamo quasi un mese davanti!) e siamo usciti con calma nel tardo pomeriggio, era metà Aprile ed il clima era primaverile. 

Abbiamo passeggiato sul lungomare di Costa Verde, godendoci un meraviglioso tramonto, fino ad arrivare al Parco del Amor dove i colorati mosaici fanno subito venire in mente il Parco Guell di Gaudì a Barcellona e una grossa statua di due innamorati fa togliere il fiato.

Hi everyone! Now it's so difficult for me to write on the blog, (university, work and love) but I will try to do everything possible to write at least once.

Today I show you my first day in Lima (Peru) (to follow from the beginning my great trip click here and here), the land of my parents and a bit mine too. The warm welcome we have received from my family in South America was enough to make me think that has always been there with them.

After an evening full of smiles and memories, ready to go to sleep waiting for us, the exquisite 'Tejas', which I recommend you try at least once in their lives! After this sweet snack could only follow a sweet sleep.

The day after our arrival we went out in the late afternoon, it was the middle of April and the weather was like spring.

We walk along the seafront of the Costa Verde, enjoying a beautiful sunset, then we went to the Parco del Amor where the colorful mosaics are immediately reminded to the Gaudi's Park Guell in Barcelona and there is an amazing big statue of two lovers.

Continuiamo a passeggiare fino a raggiungere Larcomar (qui la pagina facebook), un carinissimo centro commerciale metà al chiuso e metà all'aperto dove oltre a passeggiare nei negozi di marchi commerciali (Nike, Converse, ecc..) troverete molti marchi made in Perù realizzati a mano con dell'ottima lana di Alpaca (la più pregiata in assoluto nel mondo) e addirittura in un negozio, di cui scusate ma non ricordo il nome, è possibile ammirare delle vere artigiane all'opera con degli abiti tipici che intrecciano i fili per formare le diverse fantasie dei coloratissimi tessuti peruviani (che adoro).

Quasi dimenticavo, una tappa da non farsi scappare in questo centro commerciale è sicuramente uno spuntino (più che spuntino pranzo o cena) alla sangucheria 'La Lucia', dove potrete assaggiare dei deliziosi panini (il mio preferito era quello di tacchino) accompagnati da dell'ottimo succo di papaya.

We keep walking until we reach Larcomar (here the facebook page), a cute mall half indoors and half outdoors where in addition the shops of trade brands (Nike, Converse, etc ..) you will find many brands made in Peru handmade with the excellent alpaca wool (the most valuable ever in the world) and even in a store, whose sorry but i don't remember the name, you can see the real artisans at work with typical clothes braiding wires to form the different patterns of the colorful Peruvian textiles (which I love).

I almost forgot, a stage you can't miss in this mall is definitely a snack (more than snack a lunch or dinner) to the Sangucheria 'La Lucia', where you can taste the delicious sandwiches (my favorite was the turkey sandwich) with the very good papaya juice.
