Ciao ragazze! Lo so è passato un'infinità di tempo dall'ultimo post ma chi mi segue su instagram (@alessandracarlomagno) sa bene il perché!
Dopo quasi un anno di duro lavoro è finalmente online il progetto di una vita, la mia prima collezione di costumi da bagno creati da me.
Per metà peruviana e per metà italiana il mio sogno più grande era quello di creare un marchio d'abbigliamento che utilizzasse i tessuti tradizionali peruviani, di cui amo i colori, creando però un prodotto Made in Italy, non solo per la manifattura d’alta qualità ma anche per l'utilizzo di stoffe e per il design all'avanguardia e di tendenza che da sempre caratterizza i grandi marchi di moda nostrani.
E' così che nasce nel 2018 con tanto amore, passione e sacrifici Margacha swimwear.
Le applicazioni presenti nei costumi da bagno Margacha provengono dai tessuti tradizionali realizzati dalle tessitrici peruviane che vivono nelle zone più povere del paese, infatti una mission futura del brand è proprio di aiutare queste popolazioni acquistando il frutto del loro lavoro che viene in questo modo ripagato. Queste applicazioni sono tagliate con la tecnologia laser e poi cucite artigianalmente.
Una curiosità? Questi tessuti in lana vengono utilizzati in alcune zone del Perù dalle donne per avvolgere i propri bambini e creare una fascia, resistente e che li tenga al caldo.

After almost a year of hard work, the project of a life is finally online, my first collection of swimsuits created by me.
Half peruvian and half italian my biggest dream was to create a clothing brand that used traditional Peruvian fabrics (I love the colorfull ones!) but creating a Made in Italy product, not just for high-end manufacturing quality but also for the use of italian fabrics and the amazing design thathas always characterized the best italian fashion brands.
That's how it was born in 2018 with so much love, passion and hard work Margacha swimwear.
The appliqué in the Margacha swimwear are made of the traditional fabrics made by Peruvian weavers who live in the poorest areas of the country, in fact a future mission of the brand is precisely to help these populations by purchase the fruits of their labor. These appliqué are cut with laser technology and handmade sewn.
These woolen fabrics are very representative from Peru, wear by Andean women and are usually used by women to carry with their children, keeping them warm.
La linea di costumi
La linea di costumi segue i trend del momento giungendo quindi a un mix tra tradizione (tessuti tradizionali peruviani utilizzati per determinate applicazioni e dettagli) e avanguardia (design alla moda).
Alcune delle particolari applicazioni create con i tessuti peruviani richiamano per forma le famose linee di Nazca, ovvero delle linee tracciate sul terreno del deserto della città di Nazca. Tra cui il colibrì, il ragno, la scimmia e molti altri.

Our swimwear follow the trends of the moment in a special mix between tradition (traditional peruvian fabrics used for specific applications and details) e avant-garde (fashionable design).
The special applications created with Peruvian fabrics recall the famous lines of Nazca, the famous lines drawn on the Nazca’s desert. Like hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys and many more.
